I'm not a technical guru - I'm just saying that's what I've read in other forums. What I will say is....custom stadium sounds definitely isn't going to help the game run better or not disconnect. It can only hurt.

Custom Stadium sounds is when you have certain songs play for certain events. For example, playing Kanye West's "Flashing Lights" when you score a touchdown. Or playing "Safety Dance" when you get a safety. It is a new feature for this year - but don't use it til the iron out the kinks later this year.
